A 260W beam creates substantially more heat than a standard Redline source. This configuration moves cooling outside the chassis and upgrades the optical system so the machine can handle that energy reliably.

Why combine a 260W Glass tube with a 60W RF tube?

The RF source delivers the fast response and precise power control needed for detailed engraving. The Glass DC source provides considerably more cutting power at a cost that remains practical. Together they cover both premium engraving and thick-material cutting.

Can it cut 20 mm acrylic?

The 260W source is designed to produce clean cuts through suitable 20 mm acrylic. Results depend on material formulation, focus, optics, air assist, extraction, speed and machine condition, so production settings should always be tested.

Why is the chiller external?

The 260W Glass DC tube creates a larger thermal load than standard configurations. The external S&A 5300 provides the dedicated cooling capacity and service access required for the high-power source.

What is different about the optics?

This configuration uses a standard 4-inch cutting lens, four 30 mm mirrors, a beam combiner and a protective mirror. The larger, specialised optical path is selected to handle the 260W beam and support deep cutting.

Does it keep the normal Redline features?

Yes. It retains the Redline unibody platform, full AC servos, CleanPack protection, autofocus, camera capability, intelligent diagnostics, status lighting, pass-through access and modular service design.
